Running Diagnostics

 

After installing Raptor, please run Vsoft Diagnostics to verify that your system is properly configured.

1.      Click Start > All Programs > Vsoft > Diagnostic. The following checks are run are the system:

Ø  Trusted Sites – Verifies that a trusted site exists for raptorware.com and therefore will not be blocked by your firewall.

Ø  ActiveX – Verifies that ActiveX controls are enabled. See Configuring Internet Explorer.

Ø  Connectivity – Verifies that there is a valid network connection to the internet.

Ø  Secure Connectivity – Verifies that there is a valid HTTPS connection to the internet.

Ø  Printers – Verifies that the Dymo Labelwriter printer driver is installed.

Ø  Printer Online – Verifies that the printer is connected and detected by the computer.

Ø  Scanner Online – Verifies that the scanner is connected and detected by the computer.

Note: The lower portion of the Diagnostics screen displays system specifications and the version of Raptor that is installed.

2.      Review the results that display on the screen.

Ø  A green check mark indicates that the test shows proper configuration.

Ø  If a red X displays, the test did not pass. Please address any issues that do not pass and then click Refresh Diagnostics.


3.      After the system has passed all checks, exit the dialog box.
